New Features - NFPA Canada Blogs, Calendar and Discussion Forums

By – August 4, 2011
Online

Two new features were recently aded to the NFPA Canada group space ( a community within PTSC-Online ) which significantly increases the opportunity for Canadians to comment on the NFPA - Canada blog articles, calendar entries and discussion forums.

Sean Tracey asked me to fully implement the new features which were made available within IGLOO on line communties with last weekend's upgrade, in the NFPA Canada group space. Prior to last weekend anyone could read the articles, calendar entries and discussion forums in NFPA Canada, but to comment on the articles and participate in the discussion one had to be a PTSC-Online member.  These new features will enable anyone with an e-mail address to vote and comment on the blog articles, calendar entries and discussion forum topics.

When reading an article type your comments in the "Post a Comment" box. Web links, images and attachments can be included with your comments.  When you have completed your comments, click on the green "Post Comment" buton to submit your comments.  You will be asked to provide a name and e-mail address to complete the process.  Comments are moderated by the author of the article for quality control purposes.  After you have entered your comments you will recieve an automated e-mail which will enable you to set up a password for your e-mail address to simplify entering comments in the future.

The above procedure will work so long as an article is still open for coment.

If you have any questions about this process, please post a comment to this article or contact me.
