Checklists for the PIO #CAEC012

By – March 9, 2011

What goes through your mind when you receive the call to get your kit together, you're being deployed to Crisis X...meet at the airport by 0800 hrs tomorrow morning?

Well, some PIOs have this as a routine occurrance. During forest fire season, this was our lifestyle. At least one thing you didn't have to be concerned about was "what do I need to bring?" because your PIO Kit was ready, up-to-date and at hand. Right (in your dreams)! But logic dictates that your PIO kit should be ready!

In this posting Checklists for the PIO #CAEC012, we make life simple for you. Based upon experience, some discussions with PIOs across other agencies and reference from some of the guide books, we give you a big step towards having the kit ready. Have a look!
