The advent of social media and various ways of networking on line have provided emergency managers with both new challenges and new resources, which if used properly, can help them more effectively do their jobs. The PTSC-Online students section has been created to help students become familiar with these technologies from an emergency management perspective and to assist them in building an on line emergency management focused presence which will be important to help them develop their careers. 

This section provides guidelines for students participation in PTSC-Online.  Please use the students blog article Soliciting Input From Students to provide comments on and recommendations for improving this section.

• Students participation in the PTSC-Online student group space are subject to the PTSC-Online member code of conduct
  
  
• Students must maintain an up to date member profile and should strive to make regular contributions to the student or other PTSC-Online blog, discussion forum or wiki. When your profile is complete and you have contributed to a blog or wiki, please send an e-mail requesting addition to the student group to [email protected] who will provide you with full write access to the student section.
