It can be frustrating at times to find answers to how to apply NFPA codes and standards as well as getting clarification on the intent of these standards. NFPA has always provided a complimentary advisory service for AHJs and NFPA members. This service is now being expeanded to include technical committee members.

To take advantage of these services you need only email your questin to the NFPA staff laision or by using the standard number in an email to NFPA e.g. [email protected] for NFPA 13 questions. Or you can email the Canadian Regional Director at [email protected]  Our aim is to try and respond with an opinion in under 48 hours.
